What size?

In buying baby clothes I've discovered that it's not as easy as it seems in choosing your baby's size. For instance, Chase is 3 months old. So you would think it would be as simple as buying 3 month-size outfits, right? Well, for the most part, yes, that is the size we buy. But then you've got 0-3 months...And then 3-6 month-sized clothes. So since we just need the 3-month part, do we buy 0-3 or 3-6?? And then some stores go from just 3-month-size to 6-month-size. Hmm...So what if you're 4 months?? or 5 months?? I'm kind of kidding. I mean we sort of know what size Chase is but it still makes me wonder...We found this cute little sleeper outfit on sale at Gap last weekend and the size is 3-6 months. I thought that maybe Chase could wear it soon. Unfortunately it looks like we're a few months away from Chase fitting into it. (Notice all the material at the bottom...). Oh well...you'll grow into it, Chase. And hopefully Mom and Dad will figure out how to buy appropriately-sized clothes for you. We'll figure it all out together.
If you can't tell, his feet end about 3 or 4 inches above where the footie is... Chase looks pretty exausted from all this size confusion as well.
